Tancredo Neves/Confins International Airport (IATA: CNF, ICAO: SBCF), formerly called Confins International Airport, is the main airport serving Belo Horizonte, Brazil, located in the adjoining municipality of Confins. Since September 2, 1986 the airport is named after Tancredo de Almeida Neves (1910-1985), President-elect of Brazil.[4] In 2011 the airport was ranked 5th in terms of transported passengers, and 8th in terms of aircraft operations, placing it amongst the busiest airports in the country.[5] It is operated by Infraero.
