Santiago Library is a public library, innovative service model quality and equity, seeking equal opportunities in access to information, knowledge, recreation, culture, education and literacy, the focal point of its work to the inhabitants of the metropolitan region and users and users of the public library system in the country. Vision: The Library of Santiago is the public library reference model for the country. Consolidate the library as a model for the Chilean public library system, supporting the management and modernization of the system, with its central community needs. Implement a formal model of community participation that would support the management of the library. Attracting external resources that will directly benefit the community.
